From Stuart

My passion for dogs all started with me exercising the local publican’s dog at the age of 10. He was a beautiful Pyrenean Mountain Dog, bigger than I was at the time, but we had a bond and understood each other.

From then on I have had an affinity with dogs, gaining experience and expertise through volunteering for German Shepherd Rescue where I transported dogs, carried out dog assessments, completed home checks and dog adoption to new homes.

What Clients Say

Customer Reviews

We cannot praise Stuart’s ability in taking care of all animals in his hands highly enough and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for the Very Best for their Pets.

D Ash, Milton Keynes

Stuart is great with dogs, reliable and completely trustworthy. Highly recommended.

K Murphy, Milton Keynes

Stuart has worked wonders on my GSP’s recall, after just a few sessions. I am now really enjoying my walks, instead of panicking that I am going to lose my dog. Thank you for all your hard work.

We have always found Stuart to be most professional and trustworthy whenever our dogs are in his care. They always come back better trained than when we left them with him! Keep up the great work!’

It broke my heart that Rafa couldn’t play in a pack with other dogs, but Stuart’s skilled nurturing is helping him become the best dog he can be! I’m THRILLED and highly recommend!

More about Stuart

Background

I have worked with several local constabularies running on two Labradors for the police from puppies to successful licensed specialist search police dogs and more recently I have taken on a rescue spaniel, which is currently in training to become licensed.

I have continued to carry out a volunteer role in animal welfare for the last five years, which constitutes checking the welfare of Police Dogs in Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire (holding Police clearance check).  Work in the community is still a passion and I have been the Chairman of Aylesbury German Shepherd Dog Training Club for nearly 10 years, which is a community obedience club run on a voluntary basis by its own members.

My vision for K9 Recall is to use my wealth of experience and love of dogs and people to apply my skills to help dog owners and their pets.

K9 Recall is fully insured and I hold an ‘Animal Aiders’ first aid course certificate for dogs. My vehicle has been professionally converted to carry pets in secure crates and is air conditioned for their comfort.

I am a local, family man having worked as a director for Grass Roots for 10 years before following my passion for dog training and I also coach for my son’s Tring Tornadoes Football team (holding a full, clear FA CRC check and Safeguarding certificates).  Working with dogs and owners in the local area is a dream come true!
