Who We Are
About Us
From Stuart
My passion for dogs all started with me exercising the local publican’s dog at the age of 10. He was a beautiful Pyrenean Mountain Dog, bigger than I was at the time, but we had a bond and understood each other.
From then on I have had an affinity with dogs, gaining experience and expertise through volunteering for German Shepherd Rescue where I transported dogs, carried out dog assessments, completed home checks and dog adoption to new homes.Stuart Selby, director

Background
I have worked with several local constabularies running on two Labradors for the police from puppies to successful licensed specialist search police dogs and more recently I have taken on a rescue spaniel, which is currently in training to become licensed.
I have continued to carry out a volunteer role in animal welfare for the last five years, which constitutes checking the welfare of Police Dogs in Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire (holding Police clearance check). Work in the community is still a passion and I have been the Chairman of Aylesbury German Shepherd Dog Training Club for nearly 10 years, which is a community obedience club run on a voluntary basis by its own members.
My vision for K9 Recall is to use my wealth of experience and love of dogs and people to apply my skills to help dog owners and their pets.
K9 Recall is fully insured and I hold an ‘Animal Aiders’ first aid course certificate for dogs. My vehicle has been professionally converted to carry pets in secure crates and is air conditioned for their comfort.
I am a local, family man having worked as a director for Grass Roots for 10 years before following my passion for dog training and I also coach for my son’s Tring Tornadoes Football team (holding a full, clear FA CRC check and Safeguarding certificates). Working with dogs and owners in the local area is a dream come true!
